Set up the assistance on your THOK e-MTB

THOK e-MTBs equipped with Bosch eBike Systems and the Bosch Performance Line CX motor allow you to customize the assistance modes in an advanced way through the eBike Flow app.

Here’s how to do it, step by step:

1️⃣ Turn on your e-bike and connect the app

Turn on your THOK.
Open the eBike Flow app on your smartphone.
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
Select your e-bike from the available devices and wait for the connection.
Tip: Check that your system is updated before modifying the modes.

2️⃣ Go to the “Riding Modes” section

From the app’s main screen, go to Settings.
Select Riding Modes.
Here you’ll find the list of modes available for your bike (Eco, Tour, eMTB, Turbo, etc.).

3️⃣ Choose which modes to activate

You can configure up to four active modes at the same time.
Select the modes you want to use during your rides.
Arrange them in the order you prefer to make switching easier while riding.

Practical example:

Eco for transfers
Tour for long climbs
eMTB for technical trails
Turbo for steep climbs or sprints

4️⃣ Customize each mode

Select a mode and access the customization parameters.

You can adjust:

Support Level (%) → How much assistance you receive relative to your pedaling power.
Dynamics / Responsiveness → How quickly the motor reacts to pedal pressure.
Maximum Torque → How much peak power the motor can deliver.
Assistance Speed (where allowed).

Example configuration:

Technical trail: medium support, high dynamics, high torque.
Long ride: moderate support, smooth dynamics, lower torque to preserve battery.

5️⃣ Save your settings

After modifying the parameters:

Tap Save.
Wait for synchronization with your bike.
Check on the display that the modes are correctly set.
