The MIG-R is the perfect e-bike for all-mountain enthusiasts who appreciate high-quality components. Featuring the SHIMANO EP8 drive unit, 630 Wh battery, FOX suspension, and mullet wheels, the MIG-R allows you to tackle long rides on all types of terrain. It is delivered with free shipping, a personalized frame with the owner’s name, dedicated setup parameters, and complete with THOKcare.
The livery was chosen by the public from 6 proposals, all signed by D-Perf by Aldo Drudi, an international design excellence, pure Italian style.
MIG, from Mr. MIG, is the nickname of Stefano Migliorini, CEO of THOK E-Bikes, former BMX world champion, and ex-Pro Rider DH. Along with Livio Suppo (Moto GP Team Manager), Giuseppe Bernocco, and Sebastiano Astegiano (owners of the TCN Group industrial pole), he is a founding partner of THOK E-Bikes and the father of the brand’s iconic model.
The MIG was designed in Italy by an excellent team (led by Migliorini), all passionate bikers or former professionals.
The EP8 is the second-generation SHIMANO motor. Currently one of the lightest drive units (2.6 kg), with a maximum torque of 85 Nm and a 36% friction reduction, it ensures powerful pedaling with smooth, direct, and natural delivery, facilitating vehicle control. The MIG-R will have a customized mapping for the EP8 by THOK with two assistance profiles: “long ride” for extended trips and “fast ride” for more performance-oriented outings.
